L.M.ZHU // PORTFOLIO

Hi! I'm Leechen (Marina) Zhu, an architectural designer with an affinity for projects serving youth, the climate-impacted, the economically-vulnerable, and many other communities whose voices are less often heard. I believe that design thinking is most impactful when extended beyond the building to the landscapes, data, and human networks that connect them. Beyond architecture, my background includes a second undergraduate major in materials science, an internship with Thornton Tomasetti, an ASLA award-winning collaboration with landscape architecture students, and research in environmental justice and affordable housing policy.

I hold a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts (architecture and materials science) from the University of Pennsylvania.
